The Pulse – 3/31/2017

Happy Friday everyone! Today I’ll highlight one of our community partnerships and a new way that you can be a part of this wonderful ministry. We partner with the Central Virginia Baptist Association’s (CVBA) Clothing Center to minister to Charlottesville and the surrounding areas. This ministry provides clothing to those in need. These clothes are free for those who have a referral from social services or a church and clothing at affordable costs for others. You can find additional information on their Facebook page.

The Clothing Center accepts all clothing, however, is in need of men’s clothing. In order to expand our partnership in this ministry we are beginning to accept clothes on the first Sunday of every month. Traditionally, we ask for food donations that go to the food pantry (which we are continuing) but we’re now also asking to bring clothes as well. This Sunday is the first Sunday of the month so take a minute to go through your closet and consider donating this weekend.

Grace and peace,
Ben
