Good afternoon Effort family. The Impact teams are finishing up their
work around the county this afternoon. They braved the stifling heat
this week to perform critical repairs on 7 homes this week so that 7
meals on wheels clients can now safely age in place. It’s been great to
see the God moments over the week as the kids have been getting to know
the homeowners.
I also love to see churches come together to advance God’s kingdom. I
think it’s always a victory when local congregations partner to achieve
something greater than any of us could do alone. So, a special thanks to
Beaver Dam Baptist, Crossroads Community Church, Calvary Chapel, Palmyra
UMC, Salem UMC, Grace And Glory, and Fork Union Baptist for coming
alongside Effort to provide lunches to the sites.
Kevin toured the sites and captured some great video so we’ll have a
great video ready soon so you can see how God using these kids, these
churches, Habitat, Meals on Wheels, and so many other partners to bless
these families.

*BREATHE WOMEN’S MINISTRY*
Our next fun filled event is coming up! On Friday, July 21st from 7:00 –
9:00PM we’re having a Game Night Fellowship in the Children’s Chapel of
the Family Life Center. This is a great opportunity to bring a friend
out to Effort for a fun evening of games and fellowship.
