Ladies and Gentlemen of Effort,
Jim Wimmer and I and anyone else who would like to help, will start tomorrow morning at the Brennan home at 543 Jefferson Drive. We plan to tear down the front steps and construct a complete new set of stairs. The old ones are full of termites. I have the materials and Pat has also purchased stain. If we have enough volunteers; we can get started on the staining of the garage and sides of the house. Due to the heat, I think we should only work till noon.
I have been trying to repair my 40 year old paint sprayer all afternoon, but I think it is time to put it out of its misery. I do have a small (quart size) sprayer that works as well as brushes and rollers. I will also bring two ladders for anyone who would like to tackle the staining.
The back yard has grown up and is in need of weed eaters and chainsaws. There is plenty to do for any who would like to help.
