Good afternoon EBC. I hope you've had a great week. There is a quote I love from Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He says, "The Church is the Church only when it exists for others...not dominating, but helping and serving. It must tell (people) of every calling what it means to live for Christ, to exist for others." It is a powerful reminder that God placed Effort right here in order to serve Fluvanna and beyond.
We're going to focus in on this idea in the spring but we have a great opportunity for you to serve right now. There is an opportunity to serve the Fluvanna County Football Team on September 5th. We are hosting and feeding the team in the FLC gym and there are some ways that you can help and serve.
