Effort Family,

We are preparing to have a family conversation about where we are and where we are going as a church. As you know, the last year has been challenging, and much has changed in the world around us. We want to face this changing world with boldness that’s anchored in how God has uniquely formed us as a community.

The first phase of this conversation is oriented around listening. We’ll conduct a congregational survey similar to that of a year ago. This phase will culminate in a special called Council Meeting via Zoom, to provide an open forum on Monday, February 22nd at 7 pm for a time of comment and discussion. In phase two, we will gather in smaller discussion groups to celebrate the story of Effort and dig into our unique call in this particular time and place. We’re excited to release more details about this in the weeks to come.
