Happy Friday Effort Family,
I’ve been so encouraged by the heart and mission of the Women of Effort! I’d like to take a few minutes to share with you how our sisters in Christ have been gathering to study God’s word, finding creative ways to fellowship together, and sharing God’s love with the community. If you’re looking for a way to get connected, we’d love for you to join us!
SOAK in the book of Acts, Wednesdays at 7 pm – Using the SOAK method, teenagers and women of all ages will take a deep dive into the book of Acts, one verse at a time. Join us as we read the Scripture, Observe what the passage says, Apply it to our own lives, and Kneel in prayer together.
Elijah by Priscilla Shirer, Thursdays at 9:30 am or 6:30 pm, – Join us for a study of faith and fire with an in-depth look into the life of Elijah. New friends are always welcome.
Hike With Friends
* 1 pm, Wednesday, March 24^th at Rivanna Trail – Walk the Rivanna Trail from Pantops to Riverview Park. This is a flat, completely paved, in and out 3.0 mile walk along the Rivanna River. Meet at Costner Brothers Body Shop (park behind the shop) at 1538 High Street in Charlottesville. Rain cancels.
* 1 pm, Saturday, March 27^th at Bunker Park – Experience God through His beautiful creation as you walk with friends new and old.
Cards for the Community – Thank you to the women who participated in the cards for our Fluvanna teachers! Your words of encouragement have positively impacted the hearts and lives of our devoted school teachers. In April, we hope to expand the card ministry to others in our community and to look for additional ways to join God in what He’s already doing in and through our community.
