Good Afternoon Effort Family!

Easter Services

This last year has been difficult in many ways. It has stretched us and our children thin and brought out some of our imperfections as humans, as painful as it is to admit sometimes. However, we were never called to achieve perfection in order to somehow appease a condemning God. Instead, we are called to bring our authentic selves – imperfections and all – to our perfect Savior who came not to condemn the world, but to save it. Jesus showed us how much he loved us thousands of years ago by giving the ultimate gift, his life, for us. And thousands of years later, we recognize this gift as a foundation for our faith – in a God who loved us so much, he never gave up on us, demonstrated by the death and resurrection of Jesus.

But don’t take our word for it. Whatever step of the journey you’re on, we invite you to explore this thing called “faith” on your own terms. Join us at Effort Church either in person or streaming this Easter Sunday at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 am. We’ll save you a seat.

Divine Exchange Easter Egg Hunt

Jenny and Brian Faulknier are inviting families to their home at 4021 Ruritan Lake Rd., Palmyra, the house with the big cross in the yard, on Saturday, April 3rd at 4:00 pm. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt (Empty eggs that can be exchanged for candy) plus fun, kid-friendly worship around the firepit!

Chili Night

Chili Night is April 10th! If you would like to volunteer we have plenty of spots open. Please email susan.hineman@gmail.com
