We are going to bring the fun to a neighborhood near you! We’re looking to bring a cookout (grilling burgers and dogs), fun (inflatables, crafts, and games), and the reflection of Jesus to our community. We’ve run into a few roadblocks with hosting spaces. However, we know God is moving.
Our current plan is to enjoy some community time sharing popsicles on the Main Beach in the Lake on 6/9 (with additional opportunities at the Sycamore Square Pavillion on 7/14 and as part of the back-to-school night for ECSP on 8/23). We will need lots of help to make everything run smoothly for 7/14 and 8/23 – if you can help, please reach out. Our hope is that beyond crafting the space, people can be around to make connections with folks from the neighborhood, invite people, and create relationships. We will have the ECSP classes rotate to our team and run a VBS-like hour for them. Most of our summer registrations are below 5. So this will be lots of fun, along with singing with some games, crafts, and snacks. These Chapels are on our taco Tuesdays, so we can spend time with our school families and invite them to dinner with us that evening!
