And His love for us is not determined by our performance. No matter how many times we mess up, God loves (and never leaves) broken people. “I the LORD do not change” Malachi 3:6 Women taking this Bible study will gain a fresh perspective on the Book of Malachi.

(Group Leaders – Ron & Nancy Switzer)
A gathering of senior (50+) adults every Thursday FROM 11:30 AM TO 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Room of the Sanctuary for Bible study, regular fellowship, and mission and ministry in our community. It is a great way for senior adults to remain connected to Effort as a community. Bring your “Word for You Today”.
Thursday 6:30-8:00 PM – Men’s Ministry – FLC Cafe
(Group Leaders – William Feight & Larry Cormier)
Ask any guy if he wants to be in a “band of brothers.” The answer is almost always yes. He wants to be accepted, admired, and protected by men he accepts, admires, and protects. Acceptance: in spite of his shortcomings. Admiration: of each other’s complementary strengths. Protection: as we look out for each other and watch each other’s backs.
The idea of community is appealing. It’s fear that prevents guys from jumping in, and men have very different fears. Some fear possible exposure of something they want to hide. Some fear that the cost of community (time, competing interests) outweighs the benefits. This is a group that cuts through those fears and explores what it means to be a part of something and what it means to be a Godly man in today’s world.

Prayer Ministry Groups
On Monday evenings, from 7:00-9:00 PM, we meet in the Sanctuary for a time of corporate praise and prayer. A Praise Team leads us in unplugged, intimate worship from 7:00-7:30 PM, and then we create a prayer circle and address needs of individuals and the church. Child care is provided if we know of your need in advance! Call church office.
Daily Morning Prayer
Weekday mornings, Monday through Friday, members of the Prayer Team meet in the Fellowship Room of the Sanctuary from 6:00-8:00 AM. The small outside door to the right of the glass doors facing the FLC leads directly into the Chapel. If you need special prayer for a challenging circumstance in your life, a health problem, or to intercede for a family member, we will be happy to pray for you. Or, come and join the Prayer Team. We are praying for the needs of our church, community, nation and world. We welcome anyone who would like to join us.
“We can never expect to grow in the likeness of our Lord unless we follow His example and give more time to communion with the Father. A revival of real praying would produce a spiritual revolution.”
Every Saturday and Sunday, members of the Prayer team gather in the Fellowship Room of the Sanctuary from 8:00-9:00 AM. (on Saturdays, we are sometimes there until later) to prepare hearts for our worship services and to pray specifically for our Church Leadership. We welcome anyone from the community who wants to come by for prayer — for healing, for help with life’s circumstances, and to intercede for others. The outside door to the Fellowship Room will be open, and all are welcome to join us.
