Good Afternoon Effort Family,
We just wrapped up an exciting week of Vacation Bible School!
This week the church’s campus was filled with laughter, creativity, and the beautiful voices of children singing praise to Jesus. Children of all ages were blessed by the hard work and sacrifice of our volunteers and are starting their summer with the Good News of the Gospel. Praise the LORD!
I’m happy to announce we have two additional opportunities to continue the celebration of God’s goodness this week:
* Saturday at the Playground – Moms and their children are invited to join friends this Saturday, June 26^th from 9-11am at the church playground. We’ll enjoy a relaxing morning in the shade and may even have a chance to meet the mom of that new VBS friend your child keeps talking about. Bring your own snacks and plan to park in the upper parking lot near the office.
* Sunday Celebration Picnic – Our entire Effort church family is invited this Sunday, June 27^th at 5 pm to a church-wide picnic in honor of the Jamison family and God’s faithfulness. Bring your own picnic dinner, blanket, and chairs, and join us for an evening of fellowship and celebration of all God has done, is doing, and will do for their family and our congregation.
As my children remind me each day after VBS, God gives us the power to do hard things, and he can always be trusted. I pray that you are experiencing the joy of God’s faithfulness and trusting in His power this week, and I look forward to celebrating with you this weekend!
