Men’s Breakfast

It’s true. You won’t find a buffet breakfast in all of Fluvanna County better than the one we’ll be serving this Saturday morning at our men’s breakfast. Plus, we get a chance to hang out together and talk about things that are important to us. Like this Saturday when our guest speaker will be talking about “Can You Really Bet Your Life on the Bible?”

Ron Peri is my friend. We first met forty-four years ago while we were still pagans together. Ron subsequently came to faith after a thorough intellectual analysis of the gospel message. Since then he’s been a pastor, seminary founder, businessman, bible study teacher and guest speaker in churches and for other Christian groups. His testimony and message are ones you’re sure to want to hear. Ron recently semi-retired and currently is Chairman of Radixx International, Inc., a company he founded which provides reservations systems to forty airlines on four continents. Ron is flying in from Florida to talk to us.

In his “Beyond the Cross” sermon series Ben has been talking about Effort’s outreach to the community and our individual participation in it. This is a good opportunity to do so. Ron’s message will be fitting for all ears. So invite a friend. We start at 8:00am. Come early for coffee and pre-breakfast fellowship.
