Good afternoon Effort Family,
I hope this finds you well. Several of you have asked, so here’s the scoop. On Monday, at a routine doctor’s appointment, I developed symptoms that caused my Doc to send me to the ER. I was admitted and spent several days with the fine folks at Martha Jefferson. During my stay, they performed a cardiac cath which revealed a significant blockage. The good news is that I did not have a heart attack, and they were able to repair the artery. I’m blessed and the prognosis is very positive. The doctors and nurses that the Lord put around me were amazing and I’m very grateful. I am, however, going to take the next week off for a few further tests and rest. I am looking forward to talking to you after I return to work on Friday, May 24th.
