Remember guys to register for the men’s retreat April 24-25. You can register online at bit.ly/EffortMensRetreat, or after services on Sunday. Remember also to pay at least your $50 deposit. You can, of course, pay the full amount if you want to. The final payment is due by April 1. We have a scheduled payment to be made in March and we’d like to cover it as much as we can with the funds received from registrants. You can pay online at bit.ly/2TQeXID, at the church office, or after Sunday service at the men’s retreat table.
We’ll be gathering at CrossRoads Camp & Conference Center in Lowesville, VA. Our topic is Hebrews 12:2 “Fix our eyes on Jesus” and we’ll using themes from A.W. Tozer’s book “The Pursuit of God” for lessons and discussion. Everybody attending will get a copy of the book in advance so you can read up. You can see retreat details on the attachment. More FAQs will come later on. We don’t want anybody not to come because of the cost, so we’ve made allowances in case somebody needs help. So, if you know of anybody that’s hesitating because of cost, refer them to Jason in the church office or to Ben directly. Lodging options are on a first-come, first-served basis. There are 9 motel-style rooms left suitable for single or double occupancy, and plenty of space in the bunk cabins!
