Good Afternoon Effort Family,
This week is the halfway point of our OneWord sermon series. We want this to be interactive…so in the lobby, before and after services there will be cards, markers, and push pins to share your one word with everyone. This week Pastor Darren is telling us about his OneWord, Prayer. We have a lot to pray for and by sharing our words we can pray for one another as well.
As part of recognizing that we are a praying church, we will be beginning a virtual prayer hour on Monday evenings at 7 pm. The link will also be on the front page of www.effortchurch.org as well.
Additionally, immediately following service this Sunday, we will be rededicating the Small White Building in the office parking area as our Prayer Chapel. A space on our campus dedicated to prayer. AMEN!
I also want to remind you that his Sunday, January 23rd, at 6 pm in the Family Life Center, we will be having a Congregational Gathering regarding the future plans for our worship services. We will have a meal that will be provided, we will enter a time of prayer, and then have a question and answer session. All are invited. If you are unable to attend on Sunday, we will have another prayer meeting on Wednesday, January 26th, at 6pm in the Family Life Center. Again, All are welcome.
