Happy Friday. Help me spread the news about the great opportunities in our men’s ministry at Effort. Every Thursday night, we host a men’s small group in the youth room located in the FLC. Guys gather at 6:30pm to hang out, pray and talk about what God is doing in their lives.
Every Tuesday morning a group of guys gathers together at 6am in the youth room for a time of prayer. Sure, it’s early but there’s no better way to start the day than with fellow believers lifting each other up through prayer. Consider checking it out next week.
Last but not least, our next Men’s Breakfast will take place on August 5^th. If you are new, these events are a great opportunity to get know people. If you’ve been around Effort for a long time, this is a great time to reconnect with people and be lifted up through prayer and praise. Ted Bruning will bring us an uplifting devotional after breakfast. I hope to see you there!

MOVING UP BREAKFAST:
We love to celebrate at Effort Kids! On Sunday, August 13th we will celebrate the next journey in your child’s life in the church!
All children entering Kindergarten this school year will join elementary kids church, which meets in the Children’s Chapel. We will have some fun activities and gifts to welcome your kindergartner at our 9:30 and 11:00 kid’s services. Your child will still check-in at the Effort Kid’s Clubhouse each Sunday.
All children entering 5th grade will join the youth ministry. Stephen Beyer, our youth minister, and his team, will welcome your 5th grader at their 9:30 service in the Family Life Center youth room with a Welcome to Youth Group Breakfast!
GRACE UNDER FIRE
Do you have a loved one, or are you living with someone that is dealing with mental health issues? There is a support group at Effort to help families dealing with anxiety and depression among other issues. Come join us for a Christ centered class that will show you that there is Grace and Hope in every situation!
Meeting weekly, starting Tuesday, August 15th at 6:30PM in the FLC Youth Room
